🚗🔧 WHEN YOU LIVE IN A RURAL AREA… GETTING PARTS CAN BE AN ADVENTURE! 😂

Working in a body shop is one thing… getting the parts you need when you're out in the country is another! 🤣

Sometimes that bumper, fender, headlight, or trim piece isn't sitting at the local parts store waiting for us. So what do we do?

We make a trip to the city! 🚙💨

Load up, hit the road, fight the traffic, pick up the parts, and make the trip back to the shop — all because somebody's vehicle is waiting on us to get it back together! 🛠️

That's just part of being a body shop in a rural area. We may be a little farther away from the big city, but we're still out here getting the job done and you can see how we do it on our channel

If you're from a small town, you already know… sometimes getting what you need means making a road trip out of it! 😂

If buffing could fix everything…

We'd all have a buffer instead of a toolbox.

Deep scratches.

Dents.

Cracked paint.

Missing paint.

Rust.

Bent metal.

Yep…

**Just buff it.** 🤣

Body Shop People… Get Some Sleep! 😴🔧

We talk about having the right tools, the right products, and the right technique—but there’s one thing a lot of bodymen forget:

GET SOME REST! 😂

When you’re tired, that dent looks harder to fix, the sanding takes twice as long, and somehow you can stare at the same panel for 10 minutes wondering what you’re even looking at. 🤣

Body work takes patience, concentration, and attention to detail. Sometimes the best thing you can do for the repair is get a good nights sleep. That way when you pick the tools up you are ready to get to work.

Cars panel's don't need rest they will still be waiting on you. 😂

🔨 Hammer vs. Computer
Here's a fight that could probably start an argument in ANY body shop:

OLD SCHOOL BODY MAN:
“Give me a hammer and dolly.”

NEW SCHOOL TECH:
“Where's the scan tool?” 😂

Technology has changed the collision industry, but has it changed the body man?

But here's the controversial part…

Does having more technology make someone a better technician?

Or does experience still beat expensive equipment?

Because you can have a toolbox worth $50,000…

But if you don't know what you're looking at, you're still in trouble. 😳

🏁 The Final Walk-Around
There's one moment at the end of every repair that never gets old…

The final walk-around. 👀

You look at the body lines.

Check the gaps.

Look at the reflection in the paint.

Check the panels.

Look at it from every angle.

And then you finally step back.

If you can look at that vehicle and honestly say:

“I'd be proud to put my name on that.”

Then you've done your job.

Because at the end of the day, we're not just fixing somebody's vehicle.

We're putting our name, reputation, and pride behind the work.
