I want to thank Ritchey Cadillac for the most amazing experience. I got this sweet girl on Saturday. From leadership to sales I was so taken care of. A big thank to Larry Kelly and Jeff for all your help. I truly appreciate all you did for me.
Best Dealership I've been too!! Between my salesman Jason Burkhart and his manager Rick Rogers they spent 2 weeks-ish but got the truck I wanted. Saved the day for me because I wanted a 2021 Canyon that was in Deland but that dealership could care less about my business. These two at Ritchey made it where we will be buying another vehicle from them in the future.
Make sure you stop here if you want a car/truck. They will do everything they can to help you find what you want and you wont feel like you are talking to a car salesman.

Any one fancy a 944?
I love Subaru, they have saved my life twice. Subaru dealers I could strangle and will never ever own a Subaru again. Daytona Subaru is part of the huge Ritchie conglomerate who owns: John Hall Chevrolet, Ritchie Cadillac, Ritchie Buick, Ritchie GMC. As some of you may remember my 2014 Subaru was rear-ended at a red light back May 3, the damage looked pretty extensive to me and I thought the car should be totaled. We wanted Daytona Subaru to fix the vehicle as we had had it serviced there since it was new. After calling and finding out that they did not have a body shop but their sister dealership across the street John Hall Chevrolet did their bodywork, we called John Hall and had them tow the Forester in for the bodywork. We gave very strict orders that only Subaru would do the mechanical work since a Subaru being a special vehicle to mechanically work on. We made sure they understood Subaru would do the mechanical work.
John Hall Chevrolet, under a gentleman named Cullen, had the vehicle for 3 months. Original estimate to fix car $6000+....total after the 3 months was over $12,000 and they used some used parts, told us they would be better.....Then we had the car rental for 3 months, another $3500. About $16,000 in total. When the car was picked up after they said it was finally done, they told us everything was gone over and we were all good!! Specifically, Cullen said a 4 wheel alignment was done. Music to my ears. Since we picked the car up a few weeks ago the vehicle, has been driven about another 2000 miles.
I called this morning to make an appointment to have the oil changed, it was time. And since I was going to be in town (about a 25-mile drive) I wanted them to look at the tires, and the unusual wear we were having all of a sudden, one tire almost bald. The first thing I did when I got to the dealership is talk to Christine, my service person and asked her to look up the maintenance on the vehicle. It showed no alignment was done. At this point I am annoyed. I told her we were told the car had been aligned when it was picked up after the 3-month fix. It was never aligned. When I was driving my 25-mile jaunt to the dealer it was raining. I was on the Interstate highway. I hydroplaned and nearly lost control of the vehicle. Surrounded by semis. Yes, I was shaken. It was all I could do to keep control of the SUV and not wind up under an 8 wheeler.
After finding out that the alignment was not done and realizing this is all the Ritchie Auto Groups fault. And realizing I could have been killed just 10 minutes earlier because of their negligence, I explained they needed to fix this problem as I would not be safe driving this vehicle back the 25 miles home and if I had an accident it would be their fault and legally they could lose the dealership if I was killed after I made them aware of the problem. Finally, the service manager, who I rather liked, came back and gave me a quote on buying 4 new tires, he said at a discount he would be able to sell them to me for about $600. Totally unacceptable, their problem not doing what they said they had with the alignment. Then they ask me if I want to trade it in. I told them at some point I would, but they would still need to replace those tires before they could put the vehicle on the lot. Immediately another fellow comes into the office, Jeff, who I believe is another manager. He tells me to follow him, and I said to where? He says his office. As I get up I say to Christine, "get the car in and get the oil done and serviced". I then dutily follow Jeff, still not aware of the stunt they are pulling......They somehow got the impression I wanted to trade the car right then and there..... Now still not realizing that they have passed me onto the sales group, as I sit across from Jeff he asks me if I still owe money on the Forester, and I said yes...he asks who is it financed with, I answer PNC. He makes a phone call and finds out what is still owed on the vehicle, $6700. He then walks me out to a 2018 Forester, he says do you just want to drive it around here or take it home....I said home.....still not sure what the heck is going on....when I pull into my ex's driveway, I look at the business card stapled to the front of the brochure I had picked up with Jeffs name, and then I read....Sales associate (or something like that), and I realize they are trying to sell me a vehicle today....
I gave the keys to my ex-husband in his driveway and tell him to take it back to the dealership and to pick up my 2014, and be careful because it looks like the good ol' dealership is being shifty. About 45 minutes later I get a call from Al, my 82-year-old ex, that they hadn't serviced my car. HOT, I AM VERY HOT....the very last thing I told the service rep was get the oil changed and service the vehicle. I hung up the phone with Al and called Daytona Subaru and asked to speak to Christine, and I was directed to her answering machine......I was livid, screaming into the phone I said "since I brought my car in for service today and you did not service it, you can come pick the car up tomorrow take it into Daytona and bring it back to me when it is done." Within a few minutes a gentleman (ha ha ha) called me and said his name was Frank from Daytona Subaru and asked if I had just left a message......I said "yes I did" and the screaming was the mode of conversation. After the screaming, I asked, naively.... "So what are you going to do about this problem?" and he replied: "Nothing and I never want you to come back in here".
Larry, how are you? My name is John Ariani, and I have purchased the last six cars from you, dating back to 1995. Our 2008, Pontiac, G6, was totaled by an 86 year old man that lost his oxygen. He hit Nancy in the rear and drove her into a big Oak tree, that forced the airbag to open. Thankfully Nancy seems to be okay, some neck problems, but the G6, did what it is expected, save her life! We want to talk to you first. I have $5000 in cash and we are looking to get into something that is under 20,000. Please, let me what you can do for us.
Being from out of town couldn't ask for a better experience from this service department it is top notch..
