Had the pleasure of working on this old gem the last few weeks! Not many people my age can say they’ve done an in frame rebuild on a CAT 3406B mechanical engine.

The cylinder liners had rusted out allowing the coolant to get into the engine oil and when they came down to Florida for storm clean up they happened to get the last bit of life out of her! The old truck got all new cylinder packs, cylinder head and much more and now she’s ready for another million miles!

Well apparently Florida vehicles were not ready for this cold snap we just had, tonight makes 4 alternator and 5 battery replacements in 2 weeks!
