Instead of the typical country club with a golf course at its center, AMP features a 2-mile road course with elevation changes, technical course layout, high speed straights, and two ‘signature’ corners designed to pay homage to famed European race courses. Moreover, AMP is the only CIK Level A/1 level kart track in America (Formula 1 standard) with the most aggressive elevation changes of ANY kart track in the world. Both tracks have a Formula 1 lighting and CCTV system and are built to the highest standards.

Nothing like a GT3RS flying around the track to kick off the weekend! We’re gearing up for an exciting couple of days here at AMP, with the final round of our Karting Championship Series and Member Days on the road course!

With cooler fall weather rolling into North Georgia, it’s shaping up to be a great weekend at the track. We can’t wait to see everyone out here!

Here’s another look from above as construction continues to move along on our circuit villas! Roofs are going on, windows are being installed, and these trackside villas are really starting to take shape. The team at Buckhaven is doing an incredible job bringing this project to life, and we couldn’t be more excited with how everything is looking!

Our 4-Hour Halloween Enduro is coming up October 31 at Atlanta Motorsports Park! Grab 2–4 drivers, put together your team, and take on four straight hours of racing on our kart circuit. Strategy, teamwork, and endurance will all be put to the test!

Every racing journey has to start somewhere! At Atlanta Motorsports Park, our Junior Discovery Experience gives kids ages 7–11 the opportunity to get behind the wheel and experience kart racing in a safe, controlled environment with guidance from experienced instructors.

From learning steering, braking, and track safety to building confidence behind the wheel, our program is designed to introduce young drivers to the fundamentals of motorsports while keeping safety and fun at the forefront. No prior racing experience or equipment needed!

Nestled in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains, Atlanta Motorsports Park sits right here in Dawsonville, a town where going fast has been part of the culture for generations.

Long before AMP was here, North Georgia’s moonshine runners were building fast cars and putting their driving skills to the test on winding mountain roads. Dawsonville went on to produce some of stock car racing’s earliest names, including Lloyd Seay, Roy Hall, Gober Sosebee and team owner Raymond Parks. Decades later came “Awesome Bill from Dawsonville,” Bill Elliott, who carried the No. 9 to 44 NASCAR Cup Series wins, two Daytona 500 victories and the 1988 championship. Today, Chase Elliott continues that legacy as a NASCAR Cup Series champion and one of Dawsonville’s own.

Dawsonville has long embraced its place in stock car racing history, even staking its claim as the “Birthplace of Stock-Car Racing.” From the moonshine days and the Dawsonville Gang to the Elliott family and the drivers taking to the track at AMP today, racing is woven into the history of this community.

We’d say it’s a pretty fitting place for a racetrack.
