Happy National Coming Out Day 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️ No matter who you are or how you identify, we're so happy to have you in our paddock.

Visibility and representation matter, and no matter where you are in your journey, "coming out" is something we never really stop doing. We have hosted over 70 events around the United States with 1,000+ LGBTQ+ people experiencing what it's like to be the majority in motorsport, where you don't have to come out, one weekend at a time. Despite continued challenges against our rights – particularly those of our trans friends – we choose to carve out small slices of joy as we can. Because q***r joy is, especially now, an act of defiance.

We started as "that group we couldn't find when we were younger," and that mission isn't changing. Our calendar is already coming together for 2027 – hope you'll be a part of it. 🥰

The 2027 Mercedes CLA is the brand’s most affordable EV and makes a better first impression than the lukewarm EQ cars did. Our Liquid Crystal Green tester is a CLA 250, which is RWD with a single motor outputting 268 HP and 247 lb-ft. A dual-motor 350 model is available.

Ours uses an 85 kWh battery pack that’s good for an estimated 347 miles of range. DC Fast Charge speed tops out at a healthy 320 kW. Mercedes uses a Tesla-style NACS charging port for fast charging, but retains a J1772 plug for slower at-home AC charging - still up to 9.6 kW there.

Being a modern Mercedes, there are screens and stars everywhere. You can ditch the passenger screen by skipping the Pinnacle trim, but still end up with a wall of shiny black plastic and star logos in that space. Other notable options on ours include Burmester audio, MB Drive Assist, and “Sky Control” electrochromic glass on the roof.

MSRP of this diva is $64,030, though they start at $47,950. What do we think? Who’s got questions?

The 2026 Aston Martin DBX S puts the regular DBX on a diet, with ours about 65 pounds lighter given we still have the panoramic glass roof instead of a carbon fiber panel (which would save another 40 or so).

The grille is 7 lbs lighter and the magnesium wheels drop 42 lbs of unsprung mass. Power is up by ten to 717 HP from the hand-assembled AMG V8, and the steering is revised too.

The DBX S is still an SUV, and we dropped the rear seats to haul everything up to the Poconos for our Pumpkin Spice Rally. The Bowers & Wilkins sound system is fabulous, the seats are wonderful, and CarPlay Ultra is… a mess. But that last one isn’t Aston’s fault. More on that later.

These start around $262k but MSRP of our Malachite Green test car comes in at $350k, which includes the $22k wheels and $12k sound system. Full video will go live soon but in the meantime, what do you want to know about Aston Martin’s super-SUV?

The 2027 Kia Telluride marks the brand’s first full redesign of their immensely popular three-row SUV. Dubbed the “Selluride” internally for its popularity, the outgoing model captured lightning in a bottle for hot moms and dads everywhere with its signature amber DRLs, sharp styling, and good drivetrain. Can they do it again?

Well, we aren’t sold on the styling. Some claim it’s vaguely Range Rover inspired and we don’t see it. But otherwise, it’s a nice package. We’re in the hybrid, which uses a 2.5L turbo four and two electric motors to make 329 HP and 339 lb-ft. It uses a 6-speed automatic with the one electric motor in its bellhousing, so no CVT. Our SX Prestige gets AWD, though FWD is standard on some.

Fuel economy is up significantly over the old model’s V6, with ours rated at 30 mpg city and 32 mpg highway. Choosing the hybrid knocks tow capacity to 4,500 lbs, down from 5,000 on gas-only models.

Kia America offers interesting interior colors on these so we’re bummed to see all black here, but it’s well equipped. All 3 rows are heated and first two are ventilated. The driver’s seat is massaging, too. We have a 14-speaker Meridian sound system, Highway Driving Assist 2, and dual sunroofs as well.

We road tripped this Telluride to see how its comfort and MPG claims played out. More on that soon. MSRP of our loaded example is roughly $61k which is… a lot.

How do you send off a racetrack?

Fill it with LGBTQ+ car people and make some memories.

Rainbow Road Round 2 marked our final laps on Summit Point Motorsports Park Washington Circuit before it closes to public rentals next year, and we made sure they counted.

Two days. Two circuits. A whole lot of seat time. And because simply driving the track apparently wasn’t enough, we also brought out the Blind Driver Challenge. One blindfolded driver controlling the pedals, one passenger responsible for steering and directions, and a truly unreasonable amount of trust between friends.

We could tell you how much fun the weekend was, but we figured the people who actually lived it could do a better job.

Thanks for giving Washington Circuit one hell of a sendoff with us. 🌈🏁
