Congratulations Eric Maubach on becoming our March Employee of the Month! Eric is a true team player, always willing to help in any way he can. Furthermore, he always does the right thing, like picking up trash on the lot when he thinks no one is watching. Way to go, Eric!

“Harry developed a dedicated clientele by being available practically around the clock to meet the needs of his customers, according to my mother, who described his long hours in that 1961 La Crosse Tribune interview. He left home most days at 5:00 am and often did not return until 1:00 am without even breaking for lunch. It was such a hands-on business that my dad got up out of bed at night to replace keys for customers who had lost them. One night a farmer named Church called him because he needed gas for his Tin Lizzie, something only available then at the Dahl store. After buying one of two dollars’ worth at some ungodly hour of the night, the farmer said, “Charge it,” and got in his car. I’m sure that frustrated Dad, but he understood the importance of serving his customers.”
