Must be 14 years old or older to participate.

⛽🔋 Mechanic Pet Peeves 101

One of my biggest pet peeves as a mechanic is receiving a vehicle with no gas or a bad battery.
A car with no fuel can’t be properly road-tested, and a weak battery turns a simple repair into unnecessary jump-start duty. That extra time spent getting the vehicle running takes away from the time that should be spent fixing it correctly.

To ensure accurate diagnostics and efficient service, please bring your vehicle with:

• A healthy, fully charged battery

Even if a customer states that the vehicle has already been diagnosed, always take the time to double check the concern. In the past, relying solely on a prior diagnosis has led to repeat issues and comebacks. Taking a few extra minutes to inspect and verify the problem before starting repairs helps ensure accuracy and prevents unnecessary rework.
