Policy update, effective immediately
We are no longer accepting LS-swapped vehicles running early GM ECUs 0411 (P01 & P59) & E40. No exceptions on new bookings.
All work that is currently in progress and all previous customers will continue to be fully supported.
Nearly every one of these swaps arrive with wiring or harness problems on 20+ year old hardware. Diagnosing that consumes time that should go toward the actual tune & toward staying current on newer platforms.
If you're planning a swap, Pick a standalone ECU. Core ECU, Haltech, or Holley EFI. You get a modern harness, modern support, and a far smoother tuning process for you and for me.
That way we aren’t relying on old, discontinued parts we are unable to source, Like an Idle control valve for instance.
And before anyone says "cHaRgE tHe CuStOmEr” I do. Then I spend a week defending my role, which is TUNING THE CAR, not rebuilding a DIY project.
If you have a 0411 equipped vehicle and it’s not in a swap, Then it’s business as usual.
E38/E67/E92+ Are still currently supported, Although I would strongly recommend having a quality harness built for it so things work as they should.
This is not a jab towards any one person, It’s me taking the steps needed to clear off some of the clutter that I cannot seem to get rid of.
