📣 HELP WANTED – SUMMER POSITION

Looking for a full or part-time employee for the summer at our car lot/ repair shop. Must be 18

Requirements:

* Mechanical or body shop experience required with references
* Must be reliable and ready to work
* Must have valid drivers license
* Light body shop tasks hanging body panel parts, tearing down vehicles, welding etc.
* Light mechanic work brakes, suspension, tires etc
* Running shop equipment such as tire machine, balancer, lift etc
* CDL a plus but not required

Pay: Based on experience range $15-$30 per hour

This is a full-time summer position with the potential to turn into a long-term job for the right person. If interested call 319.392.8698 to set up a time to apply in person.

Tips if you get stuck along a wintry road and need help, there are a few things you can do to stay safe until help arrives:

🚗 Stay with your car
🔥 Run the car every so often to stay warm
🪏 Clear the exhaust of snow to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning
💡 Do what you can to be seen (use lights or a bright marker)

The safest thing is to stay off the road but if you do venture out please be proactive:

⛽️ make sure your car is full of fuel before leaving
🧥 put warm blankets or clothes in your vehicle
🔋 have a full cell phone battery and charger.
🛞 fill your spare tire up with air when checking other tires
🤳make sure someone else knows where your going and an approximate time you’re expected back.
