We survived another week!

From work rigs, to performance cars, to kid haulers we clean and coat them all!

Let’s go over what we have going on today.
Ford F350 was polished and coated the last two days and is going home this evening! Unique color on this truck, and honestly think it’s the only time I’ve worked on this particular color. Absolutely stunning after being done! 😎

Corvette C8 was coated March of 2024 and is holding up phenomenally. Some may argue, “it’s a vette, it probably never gets driven” This car has close to 10k miles on it, so it gets driven more than most. Coatings and paint still look 👌🏻.

Yukon AT4 is in for coating maintenance and full detail inside and out. Coating still looks great, minimal decon was needed since we do this vehicle 2-3 times a year. If you take care of your coatings they will look and perform great for many years.

Booked a Signature Package for a new Acadia AT4 yesterday. Have a couple more jobs to follow up with today. I haven’t really looked over the calendar lately but I think I maybe have 1 or 2 coating dates left in late October. So if you want to get one of those dates call me today. Depending on how my afternoon phone calls go they may or may not be available by this time tomorrow. Clock is ticking! 🕰️

Couple Signature Coating Packages underway for the middle of this week.

Yukon was washed, debadged, and polished yesterday. Everything has been coated minus the topper coating our customer opted to add on. Already looking insanely glossy and slick! 😎

Ford F250 was dropped off yesterday. Washed and decontaminated this morning, and about to start the polishing process after posting this update. It will be getting fully coated tomorrow.

We have a Yukon AT4 waiting outside for coating maintenance for Friday. Also for Friday, I’ll have a beautiful blue C8 vette coming in for coating maintenance as well.

Booked SOLID until November at this point.

There is maybe one or two dates left for coating clients. Fully booked out on maintenance spots for right now. Both November and December are nearly full as far as maintenance dates go as well. So if you’re wanting on the schedule before end of the year, as crazy as that sounds, you need to get ahold of me ASAP! Don’t say I didn’t warn you. The whole purpose of me posting these updates is to be fully transparent on lead times and availability.

To put things into context, as of typing this, I have 101 client vehicles on the calendar right now (counting the two I have in the shop) until end of the year. 🤯

I can’t thank everyone enough for the continued support and for my wonderful clients who continue to trust me working on their vehicles and for those that refer their friends to me for work as well. As a business that is ran solely word of mouth, referral based, sharing your experiences with others is how I get introduced to new clients. So thank you again for that support!

Premier Coating Package

This slick 95 came by the shop recently after a fresh respray. The owner wanted the paint coated for protection of the newly painted surface and to make cleanup much easier. It was thought at first that this truck had a clear coat, but in fact it was repainted with single stage paint. Thankfully, Gtechniq Crystal Laquer coating is the perfect coating for single stage paint. This coating provides protection, essentially becoming the truck’s new clear coat. The tradeoff is lack of slickness. To combat this, EXO was applied as the top coat to provide the slickness and hydrophobics that every associates with a coating. C1 acts as the anchor point to which EXO is able to bond to. 🤓

Thankfully, we are equipped and versed in how to handle situations such as this. While single stage paint is uncommon these days, it can still pop up from time to time.

Elite Coating Package

This rugged looking Land Cruiser came in for a much needed cleanup, polish, and ceramic coatings.

Even rugged, off road cruisers need cleaned up and restored back to their former glory. As was the story of this vehicle. Lots of dirt, tar, and other buildup made the surface gritty and swirls and scratches left it dull. A thorough cleanup and polish was done to remove the buildup of dirt and reduce the imperfections in the paint. What was left was paint that was not only perfectly slick and smooth, but optically clearer with more depth. To protect this new finish, our top of the line coating Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra was applied to the paint. We also applied coatings to the front windshield and actually dyed and coated the faded black trim. Unlike dressing that are temporary, this process is a true and long lasting fix.

Beefy vehicle with tons of additions and now insanely glossy!

Two stage paint correction + Elite Coating Package

This farm truck came to us in need of a solid cleanup and polish. This truck sits outside all of the time so it needed a moderate cleaning and polish to get it back to how it was when it was new. Two stage paint correction as performed to remove swirl marks, oxidation, and etchings. This process also took the paint from dull/grey tone to glossy black with depth. To protect it and make it easier to maintain Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra was applied to the paint and body. In addition to the paint, we also polished and coated the front and windshield and coated all the exterior black trim.

Stacked 3 deep today. All three vehicles were previously coated and are back in for a detail, decontamination, and top off.

This process keeps your coating working as intended by removing contaminants that, over time, can build up on the surfaces and affect coating performance. We then apply a topper to act as a sacrificial layer to protect the coating and boost its performance until the next visit.

This is common practice no matter what coating you have installed. The difference is, the length of time you can go, and how much cleanup is needed between visits. That is where professional grade coatings really shine. Dealership installed or DIY coatings generally fail within the first few months of being installed and many times during our wash and decon process. They are not chemically strong or thick enough to hold up to everyday driving. The coatings we use will continue to work for years with proper care and handling.

We stress how you have to still wash your vehicle once it is coated. Every single customer gets the same aftercare instructions. Like everything, you have to maintain your car and therefore coatings on it.
