A gift from his dad led to a career he never saw coming.

Max’s first car was a 2005 Subaru Legacy Turbo — a manual, gifted by his dad. Not long after, the clutch gave out. He towed it to the nearest shop: autoTECH Blackhawk.

Kacey’s journey in automotive started early — at just eight years old, rollerblading around the family service station, washing windshields, checking oil, and greeting customers with a smile. By eleven, he’d already sold his first set of tires.

What began as weekend fun turned into a lifelong passion. After earning a degree in Automotive Repair and completing Ford Factory training, Kacey worked in dealerships, mastering everything from suspension work to exotic car repair.

He eventually returned home to work alongside his dad before moving to California, where he and Catherine took the wheel at autoTECH Blackhawk in 2018.

Today, that same excitement from his rollerblading days still shows up every morning — in every conversation with customers, every laugh in the bays, and every car that rolls out running better than it came in.

When he’s not at the shop, Kacey’s usually off the grid — playing guitar, building LEGOs, rollerskating, or watching the stars with his dog, Violet.

And yes — the name “Sheen” really does go back to that absolutely unforgettable moment in pop culture when Charlie Sheen declared he had “tiger blood” and half the internet lost its mind. For a minute there, the world ran on memes, chaos, and energy drinks… and somewhere in all of that, a nickname was born.

It stuck.
And now “Sheen” is just… Sheen.

Big Mike’s been turning wrenches for over two decades. Sheen’s been at it for a handful of years. One’s seen it all, the other’s always asking “why.” And that’s exactly what makes them such a strong team.
