It’s been a great first day back in business! Started the day helping some friends move into their new home, then headed out to the Mesquite Championship Rodeo for a fantastic evening.

A big thank you to Minuteman Press Rockwall and Frank McLeod for the great tickets. If you have any printing needs, Frank is the person to call—he always does an outstanding job.

I've been hearing a lot of concerns about air conditioners leaking from vents and from the bottom of units. With the higher-than-normal humidity we've been experiencing this year, some condensation is completely normal.

Think of it like taking a glass of ice water outside on a hot, humid day. Moisture will form on the outside of the glass and may drip occasionally. The same thing can happen with your RV or camper's air conditioning system.

Many people don't realize that campers are not as well insulated as they appear. The ductwork often runs just an inch or so below the roof and along the ceiling. When cold air travels through those areas while the roof space is extremely hot, condensation can form and create moisture around vents.

A dehumidifier can help reduce excess moisture and minimize condensation issues.

However, if you're seeing a steady or consistent drip, there may be another problem. Common causes include:

• A clogged A/C drain line
• A dirty evaporator coil or air conditioner that needs cleaning
• Restricted airflow from a dirty filter

If your air conditioner hasn't been cleaned in a while, it may be time for a service.

Please stay safe and hydrated in this heat!

I am pleased to annouce that Martin Mobile Service is reopening. I have spent the last few months seeking guidance on the direction for my family and myself, as well as advancing my knowledge in rv repair services.
