Tu sistema de enfriamiento —radiador, bomba de agua, termostato, mangueras y anticongelante— es lo que evita que el motor se cocine solo. En un verano de Dallas está bajo mucha presión, y cuando una pieza empieza a fallar, arrastra a las demás.

An overheating engine doesn't give you much warning — and it's one of the most expensive repairs you can end up with. Push through the warning signs and a $300 fix can turn into a $3,000 engine job.

Your cooling system — radiator, water pump, thermostat, hoses, and coolant — is what keeps your engine from cooking itself. In a Dallas summer it's under real stress, and when one part starts to go, it drags the rest down with it.

We don't guess. We pressure-test the system, look for leaks, check the hoses and belts, and test the coolant. If the water pump's failing or the radiator has a slow leak, we'll find it — and you'll get the price before we start.

Most folks wait until the car actually overheats to bring it in. By then the damage is usually done. If your temp's running high, you're adding coolant a lot, or you've seen any steam, come in now.

Esto es lo que agarra desprevenida a la gente: el A/C casi nunca se muere de golpe. Primero enfría un poco menos. Luego hay un olor al encenderlo. Y una tarde, ya solo sale aire caliente. Como pasa poco a poco, uno se va acostumbrando… hasta que ya no se puede.

Cuando lo traes con nosotros, revisamos todo el sistema: refrigerante, compresor, condensador, filtro de cabina y la parte eléctrica que lo hace funcionar. A Texas summer with no A/C isn't an inconvenience. It's a problem you need fixed now.

Here's the part that catches people: A/C rarely dies all at once. It blows a little less cold. Then there's a smell when you first switch it on. Then one afternoon it's just warm air. Because it creeps up slowly, you adjust to it — until you can't.

When you bring it to us, we check the whole system: refrigerant, compressor, condenser, cabin filter, and the electrical parts that make it run. We find where the problem actually is and give you a real estimate before we touch anything. If there's a leak, we fix the leak — we don't just recharge it and send you off to be back in a month.

All makes and models, including hybrids and EVs. Most independent shops won't touch those. We do.
