There’s something really special about the guys behind the trucks that people don’t always see.

To most, it’s just garbage day. But to the kids in our service area? It’s the highlight of their week.

The sound of the truck coming down the street, running to the window (or outside in pajamas), waving like it’s a parade… and our drivers always wave back.

They beep the horn, they smile, they take an extra second — not because they have to, but because they want to.

In a job that’s tough, early, and often overlooked, they still find time to make kids feel seen and important. And that matters more than they probably realize.

So here’s to our drivers who aren’t just picking up trash — they’re making little days brighter, one wave at a time. 🖤
