We made the short trip over to Humboldt County Dragway for the last race of the season, and to say it went out with a BANG is an understatement! 🏁🔥

Dad brought home a RUNNER-UP finish in MOD today, and he worked for every single round! The car spun, we made adjustments, and he fought his way through the rounds all the way into the finals! 💪🏼🏎️

Unfortunately, in the final round, the car just didn’t have enough juice to make it happen. The rounds got tight toward the end, and we simply ran out of time to get the battery charged.

But let me tell you how PROUD I am of my dad! ❤️ In the three years we’ve been coming to Humboldt, this is the farthest he’s ever made it. He normally goes out third round. I couldn’t be happier for him! 🏆❤️

2026 racing season has officially come to an end for Oban Racing! What a way to close out the season! 🏁❤️

Over? Not til the fat lady sings! While this weekend is not looking too promising🙄... we're gearing up for our (rescheduled) TALL CORN OPEN! The Infamous, Thanks to Jonny's Fab Shop...Tall Corn Trophies have already been made! Come Hell... or "High waters"... we'll get this event done before the Frost! 😅 We're not done yet. More to come.💙💛

After 3 days of rain and 7 inches of water later… WE’RE FINALLY GOING RACING! 🏁😂

It’s cold. It’s windy. It’s muddy. Nobody has a clue what these cars are going to run… but at this point, we’re just happy to be making passes! 🤣

So here we go — time to send it, give it hell, and see what happens! 🏁💨

The rain finally quit, so we’re about to make our first pass of the weekend! 🏁🙌🏻

Looks like Mother Nature still can’t decide what she wants to do, with more rain coming tonight and into tomorrow, so we’ll see what happens. Sunday is looking cloudy but dry, so hopefully we can get the ET Finals in! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

As every race family knows, patience, radar apps, and moving canopies around are all part of the sport. 😂 Here’s hoping we spend more time in the staging lanes than watching rain clouds this weekend! 🏁❤️

Raced at the Valley again this weekend… dad tried a new class and something way out of his comfort zone!

Saturday dad made the last minute decision to enter the 6.50 index class after a good friend convinced him. Then dad ended up racing the friend in the final round. Dad runner’d up 🥈 in the 6.50 index first time ever doing it. He’s like man the tree is quick! 😂

Saturday night ran the box shoot out went out third round. His car is wanting to spin running that late at night so we need to try and figure something out so it don’t do that.

Sunday went out second round!

He’s been working on his lights with his trans brake and he’s finally getting along well with it.

Next weekend we will hit Humboldt County Dragway
