A check up with a couple old friends. These guys are still going strong after 8 plus years so far. The first picture is the LP1802 as we named it (prototype to the LP2150) the design parameters were for it to do at least 180 x 2 at 14.4 volts, thus the LP1802 designation. It exceeded that and the LP2150 was capable of even more SQ and performance and actually does around 220 x 2 at 14.4 and 190 x 2 at 12.8 volts.
The other is the very first operational Gen 1 LP2250 prototype. Both these amps have been in numerous systems and have been played “well”, we will say. The LP1802 was one of the ones we demoed at CES in Las Vegas and the LP2250 was installed in Randal Johnson’s P/U for SBN the following year. (2012) the production amps owe there capabilities and heritage to these two prototypes. Still two great amps , playing strong for many years to come.

Randal was kind enough to bring them by while he was rebuilding his amp rack for me to take a look at. Diagnosis: keep having fun with them.

We'd like to let everyone know that we are still open for business during the current situation. Our unique setup and size drastically reduces our risks to wide spread illness and natural disasters. Even if some of us were affected we would be able to maintain operations.

Always remember to include the resistance of your connections into all calculations. Well, and temperature rise related to said resistance.
