Operation recent Mopar work:
Tinkering on 2 mopars here; Sams Coronet R/T (hemi 4speed) and Carens 70 Charger R/T (vcode 4speed).
1. Making things better for Sams car; this episode sway bar links to correct ones, reinstall the serviced original rad and fan assembly, some details for oem-correct parts (ballast resistor, oil crankcase breather)
2. For Caren's, continuing with putting the 440 back together because of the bad spun cam bearing, had the long block serviced since it was out to replace the cam bearings. Have other items to install yet before priming and painting. Probably going back to the original orange. Original block albeit the rods where changed out decades ago (hence standard dampner)

Operation 70 six pack Charger R/T: electrical woes...

The amp gauge was pe***ng to the right as soon as the car started and the instrument gauge lens would fog up. Well, all indications showed a high amp output, so had find out why. Seems the alt was putting out too many amps. I changed out the alt with a known good one and all seems well. I also swapped out the voltage regulator, I would assume the high amp output could have damaged the VR that was in there. Good to go.
