Ill begin my story here. Im a 30 year old professional firefighter/paramedic, who has all ways had a passion for cars and motorcycles. I started on my first bike about the age of 5 with a Yamaha PW 80. I quickly blew the motor up on that ( the first week) and thats where my wrenching began. So my father and I rebuilt the motor in the garage and I was back up and running a week later. Then around t

he age of 8 my father and I picked up a 67 belvedere to restore. That took years, but thats where I learned. Cutting, Welding, Bodywork,Paint you name it we did it all. I quickly found out i had a skill set. By the time the car was finished I had built trucks, cars, motorcycles, dirt bikes and multiple odd and end jobs. So long story short thats how I fell in love with automotive. Through my teenage years of racing dirtbikes and rc cars I found that i did not like to leave much of anything stock. So thats where my love for customization came into play. So here we are years later after building a few award winning cars and bikes, its time for the next step. Sands Cycleworks. Having always wanted to own a shop and do my own work, I was afforded that luxury by a good friend of mine. Jon Gazdacko the owner of Falls Auto Body a very well established bodyshop made me an offer I could not refuse. So I set up shop inside of Falls Auto Body and thats where I will be running my business from. I will be doing any motorcycle repair work that comes through the door. Moreover I will be buying, building, and selling custom bikes as well. So thats the short of it, kinda. Try and think of me here at Sands Cycleworks next time you need something done on your ride. Hello friends. We have a very big ask. Craig from Wheels 4 Warriors USA has asked me to help him with a very special giveaway that was not planned or on the books. We have a 2000 Honda Valkyrie that we need to get up and running. We need front and rear tires, new battery, front and rear brake pads and rotors, oil change kit, fork seals, wheel bearings, fork fluid, final drive fluid. And. We need all this by the end of next week, we will be presenting this bike to a lucky veteran on June 7th. In Cleveland (address to be determined) I know we just did one but please help if you can. And here is why. This bike was donated by a gentleman named Mike. Unfortunately Mike is not well and we are hoping to give this bike away with him being present for the giveaway. Here’s a little about Mike. He has devoted his life to public service. Served in the army doing two tours in Vietnam and one in Germany. He has done 40 years in the fire service working every position from volunteer to fire chief. He has joined law enforcement and worked as a caption of central communications. He is a family man with two kids and five grandchildren. The definition of a selfless human being. Our veteran that will be receiving this bike is also has an outstanding bio. But I would prefer to keep that a secret for now in hopes that a bunch of you would join us for this giveaway on June 7th and meet both of these fine men. Please help and donate any way you can. It’s that time of the year. If you or someone you know is involved in an unfortunate accident, we are the shop for you. We are the preferred shop for multiple insurance companies in the area. One thing to remember and you can always be sure of we work for the customer not the insurance company. We will walk you through the entire process and if your bike is a loss, we’ll make sure to get the most money for you and if it’s repairable, we will have it repaired right the first time.
