Dear friends and customers )who became friends over the years), it is with a sad heart that we will be closing the shop in the next couple of weeks. Ken and I moved to Naples almost 2 years ago and I have be coming over with David but now he has an opportunity to take a position that will be perfect for him, and I have encouraged him to go for it! I hope you will all understand and wish him the best in this new adventure. YOU all will be greatly missed and we appreciate your patronage over the last 36 1/2 years.

Can't believe another year is almost gone, here at the shop David has kept busy and now has added another certification to his master auto tech license....diesel trucks. He started high performance tunes
on Duramax and Cummings, so if anyone needs work on those trucks David is getting a good reputation in the truck world.

We have been keeping busy at the shop and trying to take care of all our cats. Patches ( #6) ate a lizard and got a liver fluke, almost lost her but with pills and force feeding her special diet she is doing okay now.
Still have racoons trying to break into the cat compound which still scares me. My daughter had the shop cat in New Smyrna mauled by a big one and poor Buddy passed away.

as most of our customers know we rescue stray cats. over the years i haven't found enough homes for the strays so quite a few live with our family. recently, unknown to us, a new member of the family was living in our cat compound. as i went out to clean litter boxes and change the water in the dish (which for some odd reason was always extremely dirty for the past week) i noticed all the cats sitting peacefully with a new face in the group. if i wasn't so terrified by the little bandit (yes, raccoon) and not running in circles, screaming about him killing my babies, i would have seen that the cats were very calm and the dirty water was from the bandit washing up after his shared meals. the worst part is the compound is open to the interior of our house thru glass doors that are always open,,,he is now completely banned from the compound and the hole in the roof has been repaired and new lattice added as extra protection!! we are so very happy it was a baby, no health problems to any......

Temperatures are soaring, ac and coolant systems will have to work hard to keep up, time to check coolant levels and correct fan operation along with freon to help you make it through the next 5 months
