Come see Crazy Horse, always a good time in the Black Hills.

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend and are ready to dive right back into your work this ! The workdays on the Sculpture in progress are definitely busy, as you can see in this photo with an assortment of tasks taking place, from saw cuts to transporting equipment by air. You will note that in some places where there is large equipment there are no access roads, which further endorses the worth of the first tower crane!

We had some special visitors in the Black Hills this weekend. Like these 4, folks are in the Hills enjoying all there is to do. Tonight, there will be Fireworks in Custer, with lot's of our Beaver Lake Guest attending. Happy 4th of July! 🎆🎇⛰️🌲

Happy Independence Day from Mount Rushmore National Memorial.

The Memorial is open today with a full day of special programming, including ranger programs, cultural demonstrations, and presidential reenactors. Visitors can also enjoy an evening performance from the United States Air Force Academy Band

As summer heats up, come prepared with water and sun protection. Elevation and sun can make it feel warmer than expected.

Traffic patterns have returned to normal routes. The Presidential Trail remains partially closed while staff complete post-event work following the fireworks.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to Beaver Lake Campground this weekend for our Care Camps Fundraiser!

🎶 We enjoyed live music, community, and games, all in support of an incredible cause.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $200 to help Care Camps give kids with cancer the experience of camping 🏕️💛

We can’t wait to host another event in July when the weather will be perfect for more water balloon launches ☀️
