2024 KIA Telluride. Graphene coating. Folks this lasts a solid 7 years and can last up to 9 if you take care of it. For some people, thats longer than they keep their car.

Graphene is a Ceramic base (SiO2) infused with graphene oxide - a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice.

It has better heat dissapation. Its more hydrophobic and has better anti-static properties than plain ceramic. Graphene naturally repels dust and dirt better due to its anti-static properties.

Lastly the carbon structure makes graphene coatings slightly more flexible, which can mean better durability under stress.
