Due to extreme weather conditions and difficult travel we anticipate a multiday outage for some members. Our crews have been working as quickly & as safely as they can to restore power. However, we still have several widespread outages and at this time can not offer restoral times. We understand that many of you have been without power for several hours. If you have a medical condition you may want to seek alternative shelter arrangements. We can't thank you enough for your continued patience and kind words.

WARMING CENTER OPEN IN CUMBERLAND

Update as of January 30th at 1:00pm
Barron Electric has restored power to the affected areas. The First Lutheran Church is not sheltering anyone at this time, so it is being closed. This shelter (in addition to many other warming centers across Barron County) can be reopened if needed. If anyone is without power/heat, please contact the Barron County 911 Center at 715-537-3106.

Due to a power outage in the Cumberland area, a community warming center has been opened at the First Lutheran Church (1180 Eighth Ave, Cumberland) for any resident in need of a warm shelter. This shelter will remain open until the power has been restored.
