The 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SL marked the end of an era for one of Mercedes’ longest-running roadsters 🇩🇪✨

Part of the iconic R107 generation (1971–1989), the 450SL was built as a luxury grand tourer—more about smooth cruising and durability than raw speed. By 1980, it had reached peak refinement, featuring a 4.5L V8, classic styling, and Mercedes’ signature overbuilt quality.

However, stricter U.S. emissions laws meant reduced horsepower compared to earlier models—making this final version more about comfort than performance.

With its removable hardtop, timeless design, and solid engineering, the 450SL remains a symbol of late-70s/early-80s automotive luxury.

Never a dull moment here at WCCS. Herby presenting the all time legend, the Totem GT Super ‘Jarama’—a 1972 racing icon reborn in carbon-fiber. Only 40 made worldwide. As it was actually debuted at the Vezzena Pass in the Italian Alps, It was unveiled at Monterey Car Week as part of Totem Automobili’s “Totem Individual Program”, using that dramatic alpine backdrop to introduce the exclusive restomod creation.

This 1999 BMW M3 coupe has remained registered in California from new and has 62k miles. It is finished in Alpine White over Dove Gray Nappa leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six equipped with a Dinan air intake, Stage 2 ECU tune, and exhaust system.
