Heeey friends!! Unhitched Cullman made it through the storm without any major damage. Thank you all for your messages of concern. It's just a very rainy and cool day today! The ducks are happy! 🙂

❗️❗️ATTENTION GUESTS! WE HAVE 2 ANNOUNCEMENTS❗️❗️

📌 WE HAVE DECIDED TO CANCEL TOMORROW NIGHTS MOVIE ON 10/10! Due to severe weather concerns.

📌Extreme severe hurricane weather (70+ mph winds & possible tornadoes) is expected to hit us around 1 AM tonight and last through Sunday. Please take this VERY seriously.

Please secure ALL outdoor items immediately (chairs, grills, decorations, etc) Pull in ALL awnings on your RV. DO NOT stay in your RV, cabin or glamping tent during a tornado warning!

EMERGENCY SHELTER PLAN: If Nikki sends a text to take cover, move immediately to the WHITE HOUSE BASEMENT.

Access: Use the side driveway leading into the basement where the orange cones are. DO NOT use the main driveway across from the office.

Parking: If you choose to drive your car up here, DO NOT park in the driveway. Instead, park in the area around the grey community barn to keep the driveway clear for emergency vehicles.

If you can not make it to the basement, the second best option is to go into the bathhouse, and into the handicap shower stall.

Nikki will be monitoring the weather all night to ensure everyone is safe. If you receive a text from her to seek shelter, act immediately!

🎉 STAFF APPRECIATION SPOTLIGHT: MEET GAVIN! 🎉

​This week, we are shining a huge spotlight on a key member of our maintenance and grounds crew who is taking a massive milestone step: ✨️GAVIN! ✨️

As the son of our Property Managers (Nikki & Mike), hard work in the outdoors is practically in his DNA!

​Gavin turns 16 next month, and while he’s helped us out at every single campground we’ve worked at or managed over the years, this is officially his first tax-paying job! 🥳

​Gavin brings non-stop hustle and a bright smile to the park every single day!

​Here’s how Gavin keeps Unhitched Cullman Campground looking awesome:

🌱 Grounds Care: Weedeating, keeping the edges sharp, keeping the hiking trails beautiful and picking up trash to keep our property spotless.

🔧 Maintenance Hustle: Tackling repairs and backing up Mike and Tom wherever and whenever he's needed.

🤝 Guest Care: Always ready with a smile to lend a helping hand to guests, whether you’re here for one night or here with us full-time!

​When he’s not out working hard to keep the grounds beautiful, you’ll most usually catch him cruising around the park on his Onewheel! 🛹⚡️

​We are beyond proud of his work ethic and so thrilled to have him as an official part of our Unhitched family!
