Here’s another project finished up through the off-season here at the Profab race car shop ready to go for the 2026 race season
And made it for the first NHRA D3 race . Curt beautiful pro fab Camaro . This car is a multiple NHRA championship car 🏆 . It has over 1000 runs on this car . it’s powered by a Pro Fab 800+ cubic inch . Curt And Leanne, are a husband and wife race team and have been very good customers and family here at the pro fab race car shop .

Well after Building Cars for just over 50+ yrs now…… I get this Question …all the time…… Where did it all come from…….

It all came from my Dad… Bob Mandell Sr. He was a true 50s and 60s Hot Rod Builder…..

As a youngster…. I would follow him around and watch and learn…..
I would help him chop tops, French headlights, and lots more …
I believe.. I was his Shadow … lol…

Growing up in the 1960s and 1970s .. I was hooked on cars …

Here’s a 1957 Chevy of my Dads … in was nickname ..The Black Devil … with a 283 SBC with two Fours and a 3 speed … and with The Big Jones Fender Skirts….. This picture is in 1960…

This Old pic of His 1955 Ford Truck taken in 1968….that Cruise neighborhood in the 60s and early 70s … was his baby … 

The pic of the 1930 Model A ….was my Dads first car ….. that I Built into a race car… in 1973….

And that my Friends is how It all Begin…. Just living the American Dream…!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Here’s another project finished up through the off-season here at the Profab race car shop ready to go for the 2026 race season this beautiful 92 cutlass we gave it a 200 pound weight loss, carbon wheelie bars, carbon dry shaft, custom fuel sell upfront lightweight, battery, and mount . and all new aluminum Huntsville engine……. Well, here’s some more projects that have been finished up here at the Profab race cars ….. This is a pro fab custom 69 C10 stepside truck powered with 1000 hp LS supercharged motor six speed transmission, .The only thing that’s original on this truck is the a post and the roof. Everything else has been customized here at the Profab race cars. From the chassis to the suspension custom for link, custom stainless exhaust bunch and bunch of custom sheet metal work from the bed to the outside inside this thing has been customized from the front to the rear .

Pro fab race car update we haven’t posted much on social media in the last six months or more . just been extremely busy knocking things out here at the shop .so in the next couple days I’m going to be posting some awesome projects that we have finished up on here at the Profab race cars shop. so if there’s anything you need, give us a call ……
This project turned out pretty sweet. This is a back half Camaro with custom all carbon fiber interior custom tinted windows door frame frames custom pro stock wing turn out pretty sweet for a little bracket car. ….
