Played at home today and yesterday and worked on the trucks. 04 duramax got a new gm oil pressure sensor, oil change, new fuel filter, air filter, a new passenger side daytime running light socket since old one was brittle and burnt and stopped working, while I was there i added some new led bulbs on passenger and drivers side (hopefully helps with heating the socket so bad), new dimmer switch since old one was causing odometer and gear selector lights to be dim instead of bright so you can see them, then a new front passenger rain gaurd since a tree branch broke other one this last winter. After all that i test drove it and it seems the truck has some more life left in its heart to work some more so gonna fix the remainder things and put it back to work. Oil pressure is back up to where it should be instead of the slim 9psi it had before and was causijg low oil pressure readings, and throwing the codes and dinger on. Luckily the loss of power and heavy fuel smoke was caused by the bad fuel filter, along with dirty mas air flow sensor and filthy air filter. Its running a heck of alot better now! The 09 duramax toolbox got new struts was so tired of the lid not staying open when working 🤣🤣 lol, then the 2013 gmc toolbox had a broken passenger latch so got a new one from protech and got it replaced as well. I do love some random stay home days for projects, but im also always here if anyone needs me for any pulling, hauling, towing, roadside service or junk removal needs! Message anytime or call/text 208-553-7514. Thank you all!
