Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough to everyone involved.
To my husband for being my rock, my shoulder to lean on. I don’t see him much over the weekend and he was always texting me to make sure I was ok. All while trying to focus on winning this race for all of us. Your year to win this race is coming. I know how special it is and how much you want it. I love you.
To my team of volunteers. Rick, Bobbie, Kristy, Deb, Colleen, Amber, Kaylonda, Wayne, Wes, Cramer, Jill, Valarie, Merrissa, August, Kat. You all are freaking rockstars! You don’t get paid a penny and you still show up and do anything and everything asked. I couldn’t ask for a better team. And to all of my kids day volunteers.
To Crystal Motor Speedway. Brian, Jake, Steve you guys have became so much more than just a racetrack I promote a race at. Y’all are friends & I don’t take it for granted for one second. Your staff is absolutely wonderful to work with & I appreciate each and every one of them for their hard work all weekend.
To all of my sponsors. I know times are tough for some but y’all still found a way to make this event happen. I literally couldn’t do this without you. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart, for real.
To my family. I love you all & so glad we can honor our dad together in a way he would be so proud of us all.
To the fans & supporters. Even if it’s just a “hey you did a great job” or a hug, you all showed me so much love.
I am still finalizing the numbers but it looks like close to $6,000 will be donated & that’s thanks to EVERYONE! We’re all changing lives one penny at a time.
The kids day was HUGE! We had over 215 kids show up. We ran out of prizes, food, goodie bags. Next year I will be more prepared, I promise!
This race gets bigger and better every year & I CAN NOT wait for year 10! I promise this will be one you don’t want to miss. Mark your calendars & put in your vacation time.
