⚠️ CARSS UPDATE ⚠️

We are currently experiencing a power outage, which means our phones are down as well.

At this time, we do not have an estimated time for when power or phone service will be restored. We know this can be frustrating if you’re trying to reach us, and we appreciate your patience!

As soon as we are back up and running, we will begin reaching out to everyone as quickly as possible.

Thank you for bearing with us — hopefully the lights (and phones!) are back on soon! 🔌📞🚗

Here's something to think about...

If you heard a strange noise coming from your car today, how long would you wait before having someone look at it?

A. Immediately
B. A few days
C. Until it gets louder
D. Until my car makes the decision for me

😂

We laugh, but strange noises are usually your vehicle's way of saying, "Heyyyyy... we should probably talk."

Small problems have an annoying habit of becoming expensive problems when they're ignored.

If your car has started speaking a new language lately, CARSS can help translate. 🔧

🇺🇸 We Remember.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the first responders and ordinary people who showed extraordinary courage when it mattered most.

25 years later, we remember not only the tragedy of that day, but the way people came together afterward — helping strangers, supporting neighbors, and reminding us what it means to stand together.

Today, we honor them.

We remember. We reflect. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🚨 CAR CONFESSION TIME. 🚨

No judgment. Okay... minimal judgment. 😂

Which one are you guilty of?

A. My gas light is basically my co-pilot.
B. I turn the radio down when my car makes a weird noise.
C. I have no idea when my last oil change was.
D. There is currently something rolling around in my car and I have no idea what it is.
E. My check engine light and I have agreed not to discuss our relationship.

Drop your letter below. 👇

And remember... your mechanic probably already knows. 😂

🎓🚗 College Move-In Day Is Coming... Is Their Vehicle Ready?

Sending your son or daughter off to college is a big milestone. The last thing anyone wants is for that excitement to turn into a breakdown on the side of the road.

Before they pack the car and hit the highway, give them one more thing they'll appreciate—a vehicle that's ready for the journey ahead.

A quick inspection can help identify issues before they become expensive or unsafe, including:
✔️ Tires & tire pressure
✔️ Brakes
✔️ Battery
✔️ Oil & fluid levels
✔️ Belts & hoses
✔️ Lights & wiper blades
✔️ Air conditioning (because dorm move-in is hot enough!)

Whether they're heading across Illinois or across the country, a little preventative maintenance can go a long way toward giving everyone a little extra peace of mind.

📍 Stop by CARSS and let our team help make sure your college student gets there safely.

Here's to new adventures, new beginnings, and safe travels. ❤️🎓🚙

☀️ A Quick Update from CARSS ☀️

The safety of our team will always come first.

Due to today's extreme heat and poor air quality, we've made the decision to close at 12:00 PM today to help protect the health and well-being of our employees.

We know this may be an inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your understanding. Our team works hard every day to take care of our customers, and today it's our turn to take care of them.

Thank you for supporting our local, family-owned business and for always showing our team such kindness. ❤️

Please stay hydrated, stay cool, and if you can, limit your time outdoors today. We'll be back and ready to help during our normal business hours on our next business day.

Stay safe, Crystal Lake! 💙🚗
