Ride height on a vintage 911 is adjustable by design.

The splined torsion bars allow for a wide range of adjustment, including very small changes. Since US market cars left the factory sitting higher than their European counterparts, we reset the torsion bars on this 1984 Porsche 911 for a modest drop closer to European ride height, followed by a full alignment.

While addressing the suspension, we installed Porsche 930 tie rods, replacing the factory rubber inner joints with spherical joints, and properly adjusted the front wheel bearings to maintain the tight, responsive feel these cars are known for.

To finish the visit, we diagnosed and repaired an electrical fault affecting the horn and cigarette lighter, then completed an oil service.

The world’s fastest GR Supra, capable of low 7-second quarter mile passes, rolled into URW Automotive with an array bent suspension arms after setting records.

We sourced replacement SPL arms through LIMIT+1 installed them, then aligned the car around how the car will actually load up when leaving the line and making a pass. Driver weight went in the seat, the rear was compressed, while upward pressure was applied to the front to simulate lift. The result is suspension geometry that maintains bump steer and toe geometry through full travel under the extreme load of a full pass.

Two icons of American automotive history, brought together under one roof.

Both the Ford GT40 and numbers matching 1963 Split Window Corvette have belonged to a longtime URW client. Before being placed into our care for storage while the client's home was being built, both cars received engine rebuilds and drivetrain refreshes to address previous catastrophic internal issues and bring them up to date. The Split Window with a rebuilt engine remains completely original down to the overspray, while the GT40 now carries a new 511 cubic inch engine.

Few cars carry the motorsport heritage of a 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL.

The CSL played a major role in establishing BMW Motorsport, winning the European Touring Car Championship in its first season and going on to become one of the most successful touring cars of its era. Nearly 50 years later, seeing one of these cars on the dyno is a pretty special reminder of where BMW’s motorsport legacy began.

A supercharged S650 already makes a statement. This is now a lot less subtle about it.

This Mustang GT came in already running a supercharger, and the goal was to build on what was already there. We installed long tube headers along with a upgraded pulley and throttle body, then finished the job on our in-house dyno with a custom tune.

Each piece addresses a different restriction, but the tune is what ties them together. Doing it in house means the calibration is built around this exact combination rather than a generic file, which is what makes the difference between a car that just makes numbers and one that drives right everywhere.

In Japan, Kei vans were not built with rear seat belts in mind, but it never hurts to make one of these little cars a bit less of a death trap!

This Honda Acty came in to have two rear lap belts added for the bench seat, which meant there was nothing from the factory to bolt to. Our fabrication team designed and built the mounting plates from scratch, laying out the locations, drilling and welding in threaded bungs, then painting and sealing each piece before installation.

The plates mount to the underside of the floor and distribute load across a much wider area than a single fastener ever could. With everything sealed and buttoned back up, the rear bench has proper belts and the van keeps its clean factory look.
