Beware Type 4 engines just love to spit out oil passages plugs. Check them during rebuilds. They can be drilled and tapped for pipe plugs. This one made a heck of a mess during a bitter cold morning when the oil was thick.

Update on our move and expansion.
Due to our Woodstock property being sold we have moved to 8550 Ridgefield Rd, Crystal Lake, IL 60012. Our number remains 815-527-5075.
This location is just North of McHenry County College and right next to The MAC Sports complex.
Our driveway is directly across from Erickson Dog Kennel and to find us you have to go around to the back of Woolf Distributing's huge warehouse. We face the railroad tracks.
As we have for the past 49 years we continue to support the Vintage VW community but also are equally at home with all antique and classic cars and trucks.

We built this car for Jim with stealth disc brakes, sway bar, camber compensator, 90hp old school performance engine and frame mounted trailer hitch so he could tow some of his toys ( and yes that camping trailer's roof is a removable boat! ).
