Long story short, the Mustang SPC rear toe arms work for the OEM bonded bushings but not the spherical Ford Performance bushings.

So I scanned the end, designed and printed soft jaws, and milled it 1.25mm on each end. Worked even better than I hoped!

Mustang stuff - I made a few sets of these Mustang MCS 3point rear shock mounts. If you don’t know, the shock mounts are prone to failure either from fatigue or spike loading at travel limits.

3point mounts tie into the thicker sheet metal, double layered in our case, to add strength to mount and prevent the rocking deflection causing fatigue.

These also move up the mount point to gain an additional 0.5-1” of compression range over stock mount.

Bearings are fk wide series with 7700lbs axial load rating and held in with an interference fit and bearing cap with positive engagement (SSB style on all our spherical pockets). None of the snap ring clearance and potential for movement.

Mustang stuff - the fixed top hat and tight sphericals didn’t give any freedom for the spring to rotate. Steering you could hear the springs popping as they slipped which is super annoying. And lame!

I made a new perch for my camber plates to recess and protect the greased Torrington bearing and so far it’s worked like a charm.

Made some headway on the 2.5” brake duct kits. Got the mounts machined and prepped for anodizing. Also tested ASA-CF ducts, but might switch to PA6-CF for added durability. Plan is for the duct to be a replaceable part, sharing the model for users to print their own.
