Happy July 12th all. A few past tows for your viewing pleasure 👀……worked a brand new Bronco wreck on 129, moved a minivan over to lawrenceburg for repairs, dropped off a medium sized tractor at D&K Tractor And Mower Repair for a massage, moved two short school busses back over to the school’s facility, gave a smallish man-lift a lift back to its fire dept of origin, hauled in a hamster whipp that was driven quite a few miles whilst missing a front tire in it’s entirety, and we cleaned up an older Dodge that was involved in a wreck just west of the big town of Vevay. Yes, that tire and wheel is still stuck in that guard rail to date, I’m afraid the two are now one. As our Independence Day week comes to a close we’ll take a look back at a few here…..we moved a medium sized Mahindra over to D&K Tractor And Mower Repair for a massage, got a call in the middle of the night for an Astro van that had taken a wrong turn in the middle of a downpour and driven directly off of a steep bank in someone’s driveway near the esteemed town of Patriot so we were able to utilize the Jeep in winching them back onto the driveway and sent them on their way, delivered a key fob to an absent minded local fellow that had driven off without it and had shut off the vehicle prior to realizing it was missing, moved a man-lift from fire department to fire department for our fella’s in red, recovered a Malibu that missed a turn and was parked way down atop a culvert head, and fixed a few leaky tires during some down time. It’s official, truck number 17 has been stickered by CSG and is fully in service. Last two weeks in review for ya….we moved an older Honda civic over to Crandell’s Automotive Repair for a fix, left a Ford Fiesta down at K&J Auto in Vevay for a massage, installed a spare tire on a work truck for some local folks, picked up an Acadia and transported it back home to Moores Hill, hauled a Cummins Ram over to South Run Auto And Diesel for a fix, left an older Pontiac up to Ken McGee’s garage in Cross Plains for repairs, moved a Nissan Rogue over to Rags To Wrenches in Madison for a fix, another Nissan picked up off the incline of Vevay Hill and hauled back home, pulled a super cool 69 Pontiac Catalina out of hibernation and left it in the capable hands of K&J Auto in Vevay, and picked up a newer Chrysler van with a flat tire along with a gaggle of kids and its driver late at night and delivered them all back home safe and sound. Nearly half way through 2026 and another week has slid right by us…picked up an older dodge with broken wheel studs and positioned it off the roadway where the owner could take it from there, a little medium duty on medium duty hauling a Chevy Kodiak that sprung a leak, transported a Nissan Frontier over to Madison Auto Service in Madison for repairs, left a Massey Ferguson over at D & K Tractor And Mower Repair for a massage, ran over across the water to uptown Carrollton Ky and installed a spare tire onto a Caravan, and hauled home a newer Camaro with a flat tire as well as removed the wheel and dropped it off at Crandell’s Automotive Repair for tire replacement. Workin our way on into the first week of June… moved a Buick a short distance down to K&J Auto in Vevay for a fix, rescued a skid steer from a deep muddy trench, left a tall Jeep Wrangler in the capable hands of Sunfire Offroad in Sunman, rolled a Buick directly into the lift bay at Larry’s Auto in East Enterprise for some repairs, picked up a nice Corvette over across the water and left it at K&J Auto in Vevay for some rehabilitation, and ran over to interstate 71 in the middle of the night and installed a spare tire onto a 3500 Dodge Cargo Van. Lookin back at the last days of May 2026…..we picked up a crunched Tacoma and left it with Dickerson’s Auto Body to be smoothed out, hauled a single cab silveraydo with a broken ball joint in to the repair man, transported a diesel Dodge over to Carrollton for a fix, picked up a gaggle of youngsters and their broken Hyundai and moved them all home to Versailles, we assisted a FedEx vehicle back onto the roadway so he could finish his deliveries, hauled in one mean Mazda for repairs, ran over to Interstate 71 near Sparta and installed a spare tire onto a Chrysler 300 that had fallen off of the factory jack and was sitting flat on the ground, and we relocated an Equinox for Belterra so they could begin repaving their parking lot.
