Race plans for 09/06/2027

We will be hitting the road to race at 35 Raceway in Frankfort, OH. The kids decided today that they wanted to race local and get some laps in tomorrow as it’s been a tough year for our race team with unfortunate wrecks, engine issues and most of all the crazy weather so they have decided they want to take every chance they can get!! More laps the better!!

If you don’t got any plans tomorrow come on out to support these to and their competitors!

Racing update

The team decided to not make the trip to West Virginia motor speedway. Although we was super excited for this opportunity. We had to make the tough decision to sit this one out as we just got back from vacation Sunday evening and the kids would’ve been rushing to get stuff done that needed to be done.

Stayed tuned for our next race. We haven’t decided just yet.

8/21/2026 Race plans!

TBM Motorsports was going to travel to Jackson County tonight, however as a team we have decided to let the race cars sit as we will be leaving early tomorrow morning for our Florida vacation & we have a huge race coming up in the next couple weeks!

Next up September 4-6

The team will be traveling with both mod lites to West Virginia Motor Speedway for the Sour Mash 20! This is a huge opportunity for the kids to gain a lot of knowledge and experience. Not only are they both going to get to race on a historic track but they will be getting to race in front of some of the most well known late model drivers in the Nation as the hillbilly 100 will also be happening the same weekend. Not to mention the huge crowd this will also bring in! It’s truly a huge opportunity, not only for these two but for the rest of the drivers within the mod lite division so let’s give them a show!

If you don’t have anything to do! Make the trip to West Virginia Motor Speedway we promise you will not regret it as it’s an amazing experience!! 🏁🏁

‼️Little update on Tyler & his race car ‼️

He was definitely sore yesterday but he didn’t let that stop him. As soon as he woke up and got dressed he was headed outside to the trailer & Unloaded the car and immediately got to work. Once the car was unloaded & in the garage he began stripping it and assessing the damage. Thankfully the chassis is not bent. The sheet metal, bumper and that was bent but we luckily was able to straighten that stuff out. However we noticed a big puddle of oil in the trailer where Tyler’s race car was at so jay began assessing the engine and found that the oil pan was cracked. The good thing is we had the spare oil pan from the old motor so cleaned that up and got it switched. Tyler & the team has just a couple more things to fix or replace and then the 71 machine will be back and ready!
