FOR SALE**** 1973 1010 Wagonmaster. 304, 727, ford 9" rear end, 3.50 gears. Disk brake front end! Power steering. Power brakes. AC truck. Bucket seats (unsure of make), Factory Prestolite electronic distributor. NEW air filter, fuel filter, battery, gear oil.
It runs and drives, stops and steers. Its a good 'lot driver' but I would not take it on the open road as is. The bearings and drivetrain feel good and the transmission shifts firm. The tires do have some dry rot from the central oregon sun. You can see in the pics that its mostly complete and ready for your own version of TLC. Some elbow grease and a few weekends of tinkering, and i think it could be a good grocery getter. Doors are already cut for speakers!
It does have an excessive amount of Bondo on pretty much every surface. Take that for what its worth. It does have rust. The cowel under dash is pretty bad and the underside of the bed floor is holey as well. The frame is good though! No frame rot! I did not want to gamble on the fuel tank, so it is running on a can. I'll even throw in 5 gallons of non ethanol premium, to sweeten the deal. The wiring is a mess and nothing electrical works, except the ignition and ammeter. Could be a fuse panel issue. I do not have time to trouble shoot this rig anymore. It has to go.
Clear washington title. Located in Central Oregon. $4500 as is. These rigs do not come up for sale very often and are usually more expensive than this. Don't miss out this time!
