Remember the restomod travelall we built a while back, 'Big Connie'? All your favorite IH options and then we added our touches. Drove it to Montana and Nevada and finally delivered it to Arizona. We have a build video on our YouTube channel. Check it out. It was a fun truck and what I would consider 'perfect' for a usable daily driver.

A little bit from the way back machine. The travelall we put together years ago. Was a clean 2wd half ton from Idaho. We all devised a build plan, disk dana 44 front and Eaton HO72 rear axle with disk brakes. Fresh 205 to round out the 4x4 conversion. 6" lift springs clear the 900x16 's. Power steering, power brakes and one of our aluminum fuel tanks round out the driver updates. The bumper was a prototype and eventually became part of thier line up. You may recognize it on other builds weve done and other shops builds.

The Seattle run was one for the books. I didn't take very many pictures this run. I am forever grateful for the people that believe in me and what we are trying to do at our little corner of IH land. Seeing old friends, spending time with not so old ones, making connections with new ones. Seeing people light up when I introduce myself, never gets old. Hearing positive feedback from customers and getting constructive feedback is also great for helping me make this business the best it can be. I have a long ways to go and the long backlog of work reminds me of that every day. I will continue to make steps forward until every job is done and all the parts are available.
I received some incredible gifts. Checking out .morgan.smith powerwagon collection and hearing some stories was well worth the stop. Spending an evening with , his wonderful wife and Mark Ashford was also good for my heart. Its been a long time since I'd gotten to bench race and reminisce about shared experiences. The hospitality was much appreciated. The show was great. The new models are going to really turn some heads when they hit the market. Seeing more friends and meeting new ones was a highlight. The last stop at place was more than I had bargained for. The International Truck sign is an original porcelain unit and is a wedding gift for me and . I would never have imagined such a piece of history ever ending up here. It will forever be treasured and displayed proudly.
The trip home was uneventful. The travelall ran like a champ on $6+ gallon gas. 75mph in the lap of luxury. Thankful and grateful for good running rigs. Over all, it was an epic run and I'm glad I was able to pull it off. Thanks again everyone for buying parts, subscribing to the podcast patreon, and/or just supporting us in general. Without you, I couldn't be me. 🙏🏻

Sound up for a walk by compliment. We call the Travelall 'The Old Lady'. We dont name them all but some deserve names.

2 more that are super close to going home. The devil is always in the details though. 'Minor' things can add days to builds. Travelette was a total drivetrain rebuild, GM axle swap, interior clean up and suspension work. Red truck was suspension, axles, AC, glass, seals, interior work, etc... Looking forward to having the space back and checking them off the list.

I've shared this before but its too good not to share again. Late 50s on the log landing. You know that S series got used like a government mule. Even though its 4x4, they put highway tires on the front, so I'm guessing it saw a lot of road miles on top of fire watch and hauling duties on the job.

I was invited to the get together this weekend in Seattle. I'm trying to offset the travel cost by offering to haul up heavy or large items from our website or bring up any other items you might want. Fresh transfer case, power brake kit, cab or body parts. Let me know what I can do for you. Www.thebinderboneyard.com
