It was pretty special to see so many of you walk through our show trailer in Minot.

We spend our days building these ideas here at the shop, so getting the chance to share them in person—and hear what you liked, what surprised you, and what got you thinking about your own Airstream—was one of the best parts of the rally.

Why did Vintage Base Camp become Peak Form?

When we first started, the name fit. We worked mostly on vintage Airstreams, and “Base Camp” was the place you came back to after heading out to explore.

Over time, the work changed. We began doing more upfits, repairs, custom interiors, and newer Airstreams too. We also realized some people thought “Base Camp” meant we only worked on Airstream Basecamps.

We wanted a name that fit who we are today.

So Vintage Base Camp became Peak Form.

New name. Same ownership. Same team. Same craftsmanship.

We share plenty of finished projects, but sometimes the in-between is just as interesting.

These cabinet catches were 3D printed right here in the shop to solve a very specific problem. They’re small, simple, and made to fit exactly where we needed them.

That’s one of the things we love about 3D printing. It gives us another way to create custom parts for an Airstream instead of trying to make a standard piece work where it really doesn’t.
