Drawing on 20 years of field service experience, David Knapp will discuss which vehicle systems and components should be part of routine inspections, what maintenance teams should look for, and when action should be taken to help extend component life, reduce unplanned downtime, and avoid costly roadside repairs.

The staff at Hendrickson Bumper and Trim has been learning about a leadership style introduced by Robert K. Greenleaf called “Servant Leadership”. Greenleaf suggested that when leaders shift their mindset and serve first, they benefit, their employees acquire personal growth, and the organization as a whole grows through the employees’ growing commitment and engagement. The staff recently finished reading The Servant, written by James C. Hunter and will be meeting soon to discuss how we can further cultivate an employee-first culture. Hendrickson’s Bumper and Trim division is committed to Environmental improvements, we are ISO14001 certified. Latest plant achievement, switching florescent light to LED to reduce energy consumption. The Bumper and Trim plant converted 562 light fixtures for a 35% wattage reduction.
