Just wanted to jump on here and say, between our 50/50 and the generous donation from The American Italian Cultural Society, We were able to donate $2,256 to the Alzheimerā€™s Awareness Fļæ¼oundation!

Good evening! I know itā€™s been quite a while since Iā€™ve posted. But I thought Iā€™d give everyone and update on what we have going on!

Personal life has most definitely made the shop and racing take a back seat. Slowly but surely we will be back 100% and start knocking these projects out.

Joeā€™s Nova is about 50% done. We are currently waiting on the correct injection. We already installed the new tank and ran the fuel lines to the front of the car. Once we install and wire in the injection, sheā€™ll be ready for Joe to have some fun with.

We also have a good customers mini cup in for seat mounts and pedal box. Turning out killer so far! Little bit of welding and some tin work left. Then itā€™s back to the customer to finish it!

We have a boat load of projects that will be in the shop this winter. I complain about being busy, but after talking with a good friend, itā€™s a good problem to have. The parts side of the shop has been very slow. But we are still putting orders together for those who need it! Every Monday and Wednesday we try and place an order.

Shirts and hoodies. Our guy is super backed up. But he was able to squeeze us in. They will be done shortly for those who have already reached out asking when theyā€™ll be done.

Thank you to everyone who supports this crazy journey. Thank you for helping keep what Grandpa started 62 years ago alive! Couldnā€™t do it without you.

Itā€™s has been very hectic lately. I have been working OT at the day job and trying to keep up at the shop has been tough. But I am trying!

ā€¢ Car show pictures. I was finally able to sit down and go through the 600 pictures Goodaker Photography took. What awesome pictures! If you would like to see if there any of your hot rod, please feel free to reach out!

ā€¢ We have stagger tapes back in stock! $8 per or $15 for 2. We have them in red or green. Also have stickers for $2 a pc.

ā€¢ Shirt order is in. Our guys are stacked up with previous orders, but they will get to us as soon as possible. Thank you to all who pre ordered! I will end up doing a few extras to keep in stock.

ā€¢ Motorstate orders. We are still placing orders everyday Monday and Wednesday. So if there is anything you may need for the last few races, let us know!

ā€¢ If you are looking to have work done by us this winter. Please reach out sooner than later as we are starting to get pretty scheduled out.

We are looking to continue to grow what was once an established business. Itā€™s going great as far as I can say. There has been plenty of hurdles but being surround by some of the best people around makes it all a lot easier. Just want to send out a collective thank you to those who stand out. My wife, my parents, Scotty K, Murph, Paul,Pops, Ronnie, Mike G and many more. A lot of support throughout this entire deal.

What happens when your racing weekend doesnā€™t go as planned and you had prior worked lined up?? Ahh yes stress. Pressure makes diamonds though. šŸ’Ž

The Racecar is 87% of the way back together. Waiting on a few parts from Motorstate. Other than a quick check over she will be ready for weekend. Full race recap will be on my personal page.

Today our good friend Joe dropped off his beautiful nova. We will be doing an EFI kit and just a few other small things. Joe has been super patient and we appreciate that! Iā€™m hoping it all goes smooth.

šŸšØ Last call for merch. If you want something please reach out ASAP. End of the week and I will be sending it into our guys over at R1Graphix and Design. I will order some extra but please help me out. Thank you. Both shirt and hoodie will be 2 sided. Merch will be Silk Screened. This is an example of a DTF style shirt.

Late night in the shop with Matt. We were able to get it about 95% done on my part. Some assembly required once it leaves lol. Big thank you to my Pops for coming by with some heat and the correct tools for some straightening. Itā€™s really not bad for a single night worth of thrashing! Both of us are happy with the way it turned out. Now itā€™s better than ever! Hopefully Matt can pick up where he left off with some speed. Onto the next one šŸ’ŖšŸ¼

Itā€™s raining racecarā€™s here at Sontag Speed Supplies. Prepping the 1 for slinger. RVJ drove it at Wi******er and had a good showing. For not driving this car for a while, definitely adapted and overcame. Still a hot rod with just a few more donuts and dents.. Iā€™m ready to be back in the car after a knee injury. Thatā€™s for sure.

A good customer of ours, Matt Chester is in for some repairs. He took a pretty good hit at Grundy Sunday. We hate to see anyoneā€™s stuff get tore up, but it is great to know our tail design did everything it was supposed to do. Crushed, crumpled and stopped before the chassis took the hit. Iā€™ll pat myself on the back for that! But we will have him back rolling Friday and better than ever!

Very glad to be back in the shop. Resting at home all week was not very fun. Needed some of the stresses back. šŸ˜‚

Good evening everyone. Just wanted to reflect on what a great turnout we had Saturday for our first annual car show. Iā€™m going out on a limb and saying it was a great success! Is there stuff to improve on? Of course. In every event there is always something to improve on. But to get this much support in our first ever show? I was blown away! I want to extend my biggest thank you to each and every one of you who showed up to support my family and I. My grandpa was blown away and havenā€™t ever seen him that involved in something in quite a while. With that all being said there is a long list of people I need to extend it to a little farther.

Dave Grossklaus and Dave Bancroft from Rusty Nutz Car Club. These 2 gentlemen reached out immediately to lend a helping hand. They absolutely were a huge help with everything on Saturday as well. What a great relationship to have with these guys!

John Holmstrom. He was also onboard from the beginning. He did so much of the footwork to please the city of crest hill. He even donated the bathrooms! He and grandpa go way back.

My entire family. They showed up and showed out for sure. My Wife, My Mom, Aunt Sarah, Cousins Emily and Kaylyn! Could not of done Saturday without them. They handled 98% of everything so I could somewhat relax.

Danny Brandalino with the American Italian Cultural Society. They were a huge supporter in this and I am very glad they were a part of it. They served food and drinks and allowed us to use their lot. I heard a lot of great things about the food! Thank you to everyone who supported them in supporting us.

Ron Vandermeir Sr for being our awesome Dj on such short notice. It was great to have music and a place to do our awards!

Chris Goodaker with Goodaker Photography. They stepped up with a super late in the game ask. Those guys took about 900 photos! I will have them shortly to share with everyone. All around great people!

Mike Glenn with VRS Realty. He sent us some reinforcements for the rush on Saturday! Couldnā€™t ask for a better friend. Thank you to you and your team for the support.

Thank you to those who helped us with our trophies. Advanced Powder Coatings and R1 graphix. I think our trophies were one of the cooler ones Iā€™ve seen. But I may be biased some.

Rough donation number is around $2200 to the Alzheimerā€™s Awareness foundation!! That is absolutely insane! ļæ¼I know that Alzheimerā€™s is near and dear to all of our hearts, so to have this big of a donation is awesome. ļæ¼

Our 50/50 was around $1700! Don Votick won that and donated half of his half back to the charity. Kudos to him.

We are already working on next yearā€™s show! So I hope we can increase our number of roughly 150 cars, trucks and bikes to maybe 200? Each and everyone of you were awesome. Thank you for coming out!
