Here are some reminders about driving safely in inclement weather 👇
-Slow down.
-Allow for extra travel time.
-Turn on your headlights.
-Keep extra distance from other vehicles.
-Turn around, don’t drown - avoid walking or driving through flood waters.
-If you encounter flash flooding, move immediately to higher ground.
-Don’t travel through moving water - it may be deeper than it looks, and your vehicle can be carried by a current.
-If your vehicle begins to hydroplane. keep calm. take your foot off the gas, and steer straight in the direction you want to go.
-If you need to pull off to the side of the road, turn on your hazard lights.
