What I know:
5.3 Engine
Auto Transmission
It physically starts and runs.
It has a cylinder 4 misfire code.
Runs RUFF!
The transmission will shift good from first to second, it will shift from 2nd to 3rd if you take your foot off the gas to let it.
It never even tries to shift into fourth gear so you are speed limited to about 55 miles an hour!
4X4 works
Sunroof works
Heated seats works
AC is Ice Cold!

Truck is extremely rusty.
Half of the truck rusted off the truck!

Let’s deal with the big oil hype that always comes up anytime you talk about an electric vehicle. 🚗
⭐️What happens when you need a battery? 🌟
The short answer is you never just all of a sudden need a battery just like the battery on your cell phone. It didn’t go from perfectly good to perfectly bad in a single day. It slowly lost capacity due to derogation.
When you charge it to a full charge, you look at your range as the battery derogation affects the vehicle, it will slowly lose some range.
You will have months or even years of advanced notice that your battery is losing capacity.
Just like with your cell phone when it no longer suits what you need you trade it in and get a different one. For most people when the vehicle no longer suits your mileage needs it will still be a good vehicle for somebody else who drives less than you.
Also as the EV‘s are getting older, the batteries are also becoming more available and cheaper. More people have learned how to repair the individual cells which is much cheaper than changing a whole battery pack.
But let’s be real here. I’m not selling you a $30,000 Tesla I’m selling you a $6000 Nissan leaf. At that price it’s less expensive than a side-by-side four wheeler or off-road toy!
