Road Closure Notice

Effective immediately, Main St. is closed between Barr St. and Grand Ave. At this time, there is no estimated reopening time.

Residents are asked to use the following alternate routes: ~Residents on Jennie Crt. and Jennie Ln. should enter and exit via Grand Ave.
~Residents near Barr St. should use Barr St. to enter and exit the area.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this closure is in effect. Updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.

We are aware that many customers have not received their water bills, which were taken to the post office on July 1st. Some customers received theirs today. We hope all customers will receive their bills within the next few days. For your account balance, please contact the water office at 618-985-3322. Thank you for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience.

Due to a water main extension Tuesday, June 16th, starting at 8:00 a.m., Main St. will be closed from California St. to Barr St. The reopen time is to be determined. Please use an alternate route.
The residents that live on Main St. between California St. and Barr St. as well as the residents on Stefan Dr., Janet Ln. and Skeeter Ridge Ln. must enter and exit on California St. You will not be able to go towards Grand Ave.

🌟 UPDATE: TUCKER IS HOME 🌟

TUCKER UPDATE: Carterville/Cambria IL

Yesterday, with the help of the community, three of our feeding stations with surveillance cameras were placed strategically along the path Tucker has been traveling for the last few days.

The plan was to be up early this morning to fly the thermal drone at the prime time of his tracked movement. Unfortunately the drone remote controller didn’t connect completely to fully charge and we were unable to take flight.

So this is where we need you, again. In the areas on E. Grand … both north and south of Brooke Ln to both north toward Hafer Rd and Lakeview Dr and south of Samuel Rd to Main, please review any surveillance cameras you may have on your property.

At the current time we do not have any surveillance footage of Tucker on our cameras. If your neighbors don’t have social media, please ask them to check any camera footage they may have also. We need to get this boy home!
