Recently, after receiving a vehicle to donate, CBA Ocotillo gave their time, talent and expertise to ensure it was safe and reliable on the road. Once it was ready, they began praying about who should receive it. As they sought God’s direction, one organization kept coming to mind: Teen Challenge Home of Hope.

When the team reached out to the home’s director, they discovered one of the ministry’s staff members, Jewells, had been faithfully praying for reliable transportation. A graduate of Home of Hope herself, Jewells chose to remain after completing the program, first serving as an intern before joining the staff. Today, she dedicates her life to serving the women and children who find refuge and healing through the ministry.

The director shared that she and Jewells had been praying specifically for a vehicle and believed God had already promised to provide one. The call from the Ocotillo team was the answer they had been waiting for.

Tires are a large investment, and you want to get the most out of them. Regular rotations help both your alignment and suspension components.

Remember, uneven tires can lead to a rougher ride, poor handling, and less traction in inclement weather. 🛞

How many technicians does it take to remove a bolt? 🤔

It’s actually a more common occurrence than you might imagine. In our hot, humid climate, the culprits are often invisible:

🔥 Heat Seizing (Galling): High engine temperatures can cause metals to expand and, under friction, essentially 'cold-weld' their threads together.

🔬 Galvanic Corrosion: When a steel bolt is set into an aluminum part (a common mix!), our intense humidity acts like a battery electrolyte. This creates a tiny electrical current, making the different metals practically "fuse" together at the microscopic level. It's not a rust bubble; it’s a molecular-level lock.

When a bolt decides to have a mind of its own, our team uses patience, specialized penetrants, precise heat, and a whole lot of teamwork.

Stop by and let us handle the stubborn jobs! We're here to serve you. 🚗💨

Is your car turning "Springtime Green?" 🌲🚗

It’s officially that time of year in Louisiana! If you walked outside this morning and thought someone gave your car a new, neon-yellow paint job, you aren’t alone.

While that thick layer of pollen is a sign that spring has sprung, it’s doing more than just making you sneeze. When pollen sits on your car, the Louisiana humidity can actually make it slightly acidic—which isn’t great for your paint over time.

Even more importantly: if it’s on your hood, it’s in your vents. 🤧 Your cabin air filter is the only thing standing between that "yellow dust" and the air you’re breathing inside your car.

The Nice Neighbor Tip: Next time you're out, grab a microfiber cloth and wipe down your door seals and the base of your windshield. It helps keep the dust from blowing straight into your face when you turn on the AC!

If you’re feeling the "sneeze" every time you crank the air, swing by and see us. We’ll check your cabin filter for free and have you breathing fresh air again in minutes.

Stay cool (and clear-eyed) out there!
