Botel was extremely grateful to receive business this past winter. While the circumstances that called for it was not something we wanted. 🫤
During the ice storm this past January/February, we had the honor to have not one, not two, not even three, but four different tree service companies choose to stay with us to help our county and surrounding counties in cleaning up our main roads and streets. We know every single person worked tirelessly from dawn to dusk to ensure our safety on the roads from the fallen trees. We also can’t forget to mention the volunteers and good samaritans who helped family, friends, and neighbors, with cleaning up.

This post in particular is dedicated to Servants Tree Services. Who today, all showed up to pack, check and haul their trucks and campers to hit the road back home. They stopped at our office to let us know they were leaving and when you get to know a few of them, it’s bittersweet to see them leave even though we knew it was coming.
We couldn’t pass the opportunity of taking a picture of them gathering together and have a prayer before loading up and hitting the road. It really touches the soul and reminds you.. Our Lord is the only being to protect us from all evil and harm.
For He is with us at all times to guarantee our safety, whether you’re traveling 5-10 hours or just 5-10 minutes. These gentlemen remind us to always take the extra minute to give ourselves to Him today, tomorrow, and every day after that.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

May these gentlemen get home safe.🙏🏻

We were a full house this past weekend for Memorial Day!! 🇺🇸⭐️

Campers ask and we shall deliver! Everyone kept asking for a golf cart parade and boy, they did not disappoint!! 😝
From them bringing their own to literally renting us out of our own carts/scooters!! 😳🫨

We had so much fun decorating and even more fun spending time with family, friends, and getting to meet new people!!

We did this parade in honor of our fallen heroes, who without them, we wouldn’t have the freedom we do today. To every person who’s had family, friends, or close ones fall in combat, we thank them from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️

Boy oh boy!! Do we have the stress reliever for all of you!

Not only can you come stay with us to relax and enjoy a stress free week/weekend, we also have little squishies for the endless stress free life!😉

Or you know, let your kiddos know we have them so they can play with them too!😜

Stop by our general store today! We’re open 7 days a week now, starting at 10 a.m.!

National Tourism Week is coming up! Guess who just received their ‘Thank You’ pineapple?? 🍍😜

We can’t thank all of our customers enough for choosing us as their favored campground for a nice weekend getaway, or choosing to stay full time. Every single one of you has become like family and we wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️🙏🏻
As for people who have heard of us, come check us out! We have plenty of sites to choose from AND plenty of amenities for you and the kids! Stop by for information or just stop by for a nice cold beverage or ice cream! 🍦🥤 Did we mention we also have several River Cabins to choose from?

If you come from afar, there’s plenty of activities to choose from and definitely plenty of restaurants to eat at. 🍴Come explore Pickwick and surrounding areas, take a tour around Shiloh Park, bring your side by sides and ride a trail, visit the TN River Museum in Savannah. Whatever the case, whatever you choose, you won’t regret it!

Come make memories with us!! We can’t wait to meet and see you!!

We had our Botel Easter Egg Hunt yesterday and let us just say it was a blast!! Here are just a few pictures taken from the day. We were so glad to see all the kid’s smiles, laughs, and overall joy to hunt those eggs. 🥰

We want to thank one of our wonderful full time guests, Mrs. Joanie, in helping us with not only hiding eggs but hiding ONE of the golden eggs in her hair!!🤣🤭

Our boss just brought some new toys 😜
We’re selling this 6-seater golf cart for $8900
And the trike for $1800. They’re stationed here at the campground, we’re open Monday-Saturday 10-4
