Arizona Recovery & Towing is seeking Full-time highly motivated Tow Truck Operators to operate a company owned flatbed and if certified a Heavy Wrecker, wheel lift tow truck and equipment to assist for the following emergency services: Towing, battery boost, fuel delivery, lockout, flat tire/tire changes, extricating/winching, and accidents. Experience is preferred, but will train the right individuals.

Key responsibilities include:
• Receiving communications from company dispatcher
• Driving to the scene of a vehicle breakdown or accident
• Provided outstanding customer service by interacting with the customer to find out the nature of the problem
• Jump-starting vehicles, changing tires and fuel deliveries
• Safely load vehicles onto the back of the truck with a chain, winch or steering block
• Towing the vehicle to an authorized destination which may include service station or junkyard
• Reporting to base and completing paperwork
• Perform all duties in compliance with safety and security standards
• Maintain and protect all company property
• Inspect company vehicle and report any damages or safety conditions to management, following appropriate procedures
• Keep truck in clean and in good condition
Key requirements include:
• 2 Years tow experience is a plus but we are willing to train
• Knowledge of towing procedures and practices, a plus
• Knowledge of automotive repair and service techniques, a plus
• Experience with smartphones, a plus
• Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees
• Ability to navigate the Verde Valley and
metropolitan areas, preferred
• Valid Arizona driver's license
• Pass DOT physical exam, and maintain a current DOT medical card
• Current clean 5 year driving record
• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Ability to work weekends and overtime if needed
Pre-employment background check, drug screening and current Motor Vehicle Driving record for the past 5 years is required. (Driving record is required at time of interview)
