🌨️ HAIL DAMAGE? BEFORE YOU CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY — KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.
After yesterday’s hailstorm in Cottonwood, there will be a lot of insurance claims filed over the next several days.
And we need to address something that has become an increasing problem in our community.
YOU choose who repairs your vehicle — not your insurance company.
Recently, we have had customers tell us that insurance adjusters and even local insurance agents have said things like:
“They aren’t on our list.”
“We don’t work with that shop.”
“You’ll need to take it to one of our preferred shops.”
We’ve even had customers told that their insurance company won’t work with Red Rock Collision — while we literally have other vehicles sitting in our shop being repaired for customers insured by that exact same company.
So let’s clear this up.
Red Rock Collision works with ALL insurance companies.
We communicate with them. We submit estimates and supplements. We document repairs. We negotiate the claim. And we repair vehicles for their policyholders every single week.
What we don’t do is allow an insurance company’s preferred-shop list to determine how we repair your vehicle.
There is an important difference between:
“This shop isn’t on our preferred list.”
and
“We won’t work with this shop.”
Those are NOT the same thing.
A preferred-shop list is the insurance company’s list. It does not take away your choice of repair facility.
And before you let anyone steer you toward a shop simply because it’s “on the list,” we encourage you to do your own homework.
Look at the reviews.
Ask your neighbors.
Look at how long the shop has been here.
Find out who actually owns it and who will stand behind the repair when something goes wrong.
