The rule usually is “you get what you pay for”, but in this case we don’t even think that applies. A customer recently brought us this “rebuilt” M42 to install into their car, but what do you guys think?
Between the spray paint over dirt, the reused head bolts, pistons, and bearings, and the dirty internals, it appears all they got was some paint and gaskets.

Fun little suspension overhaul last week for beautiful 520.
We installed some MTS coilovers, new control arms and bushings, front sway bar links, and tie rods. The e12 center link has been NLA for a while now, but we couldn’t let this one leave with all these new parts and an extremely worn out center link. We were able to fabricate a new link out of a new e10 part and some chromoly tubing, and the difference is night and day. Old car ownership can be a pain sometimes, but we’re here to make it a bit easier on you.
