The upper oil pan requires resealing on this 6.7L Power Stroke. The primary reason this repair is necessary is that the crankcase ventilation (CCV) filter was not replaced as part of the recommended maintenance schedule. Following the manufacturer’s service intervals and replacing the CCV filter at the proper time can help prevent excessive crankcase pressure, oil leaks, and costly major repairs.

Cummins actuators are one of the most common parts we replace. Low boost issues and exhaust brakes that hang are often traced back to a failing actuator—but not always.
Getting the diagnosis right can save you thousands. In our experience, about 70% of the time the actuator is the problem. The other 30%, it’s actually the turbocharger.
