I was sent some amazing paperwork for the Suburban today. The original owners manual, with the original owners protecto-plate, and a partial registration with Clair and Evelyn Arnold’s name on it. The Suburban was bought from Bird Chevrolet in Lebanon, OR, May 29, 1967. So glad I own it and brought it back to the area from Washington. These photos are from when it was for sale in 2020. Found these on a Facebook for sale page.

Just finished up an amazing weekend in Sisters Oregon at the Cold Springs Campground for the Dork in the Road camp out. I rode my KLX300 all over the place. The Dee Wright Observatory, Skylight Cave, Cache Mountain and the Trout Creek Butte Lookout with an amazing view of the Three Sisters. Met some great people and enjoyed sitting around the campfire talking motorcycles and camping.

Prepping the KLX300 for a trip this coming weekend. Added the simplest, and probably cheapest, storage solution to the rack. A Harbor Freight Apache water proof box. It’ll help store first aid gear, some extra water and other small items I want with me on the ride. This bike is going to be fun!
