There is an Annual National Brockway Truck Show in Cortland, NY held every year the second Saturday in August. Brockway enthusiasts from as far as Montana, Alaska, and Australia, have been known to frequent this event. For the past several years there has been over 100 trucks gathering on Main Street. The BTPA organizes this event which now starts on the Thursday before the second Saturday with 'H

uskiedrive' ride and ends on Sunday with a 'goodbye' pancake breakfast. Currently Jim Price is President but Shirley Randolph has been President since conception and has completely organized every show previous to 2013. The organization is completely volunteer with a full Board of Trustees, a newsletter editor/publisher, and many helpers.

The trucks I seen today were amazing to see and see how the equipment was back in my dads time of driving. Dad retired in 93’ I was only 3 years old but the stories dad told won’t ever fade as I will pass them down to my kids. I promised my dad for years that I would take him to the truck show and just never got the time to do it. I know he was looking down smiling and I could just hear the stories as I was walking down main st. Even though he wasn’t there in person to see it he was there in spirit.
