The Towing & Recovery Association of America, Inc. - TRAA Education Foundation has announced its 2025 scholarship recipients.

TRAA press release:

The TRAA Education Foundation, Inc.® is proud to provide annual scholarship aid to students furthering their education through its Scholarship Fund. Since 1990, the TRAA Education Foundation has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships to the children and grandchildren of TRAA regular members to assist them in completing their postsecondary education. Scholarships are awarded to students each year based on merit and the candidate's overall character, community involvement, family service, etc.

The Scholarship Committee was pleased to award a total of $29,500 in scholarships in 2025.

The 2025 Scholarship Recipients Are:

· Alexandria Bender - $4,500
· Kinzie Chron - $2,000
· Spencer Hobson - $5,000
· Jacey Irwin - $3,000
· Taylor Irwin - $2,500
· Jonathan Roth - $2,500
· Kyra Scardina - $5,000
· Brynn Schueller - $5,000

Texas: Authorities say a tow truck operator has died after being struck by an impaired driver Tuesday evening on I 20 at Spur 408 in Dallas County. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office says the operator was outside the tow truck when the crash happened. The driver who allegedly hit him was arrested on a charge of intoxication manslaughter, authorities said.

I've lost a whole lot of people in 2025,,,,,I hate it when I lose a good friend I've know since he was a very small kid.....Don McClure Jr. ..the owner of Texas Auto Title ... passed away on December 23rd....when I had him to my huge list of friends this year...it makes you question why......why they are gone...why am I still here....Faith is everything.....May he rest in peace.,,,,our thoughts and prayers with Amy and everyone that knew him.....
