Big shouts to a good friend of mine, he was having a completely flat brake pedal, turns out his rear wheel cylinder is out and not holding pressure but every other wheel seems okay, made the car somewhat safer and waiting for him to confirm the repairs! Little alternator on a volkswagen Passat, the pulley itself appeared to be seized and eventually started shredding itself and walking back and forth, replaced the alternator with the VALEO one, as opposed to the Bosch ones some of these come with! Got it on the road and sounding much better.

bit of a long standing project that I’ve been cracking at slowly. A good buddy of mine had low compression in cylinder 4, bad piston rings, and blew the head gasket between 1-2, which also caused compression loss, got the cylinders honed , new rings installed, new bearings, and got it all back together! She’s running solid, just need to do the lower mounts and add some coolant.

Decent little job on a 1996 dodge grand caravan today, customer messaged for an ignition switch replacement, plus a few little resets and diagnostic for what appears to be a bad mechanical cluster. N activity from any gauges or the PRNDL selection or even mileage, put power directly to it and didn’t even budge. Customer opted to order a new one online.

Little ongoing job for a good friend of mine, his car wouldn’t run or ran poorly, did a compression test and noted cylinders one and two had NO compression, well I dialed it down to a head gasket issue and when I pulled the head gasket, the gasket between 1 and 2 didn’t exist!

A little project I got a call for, this 07 GT has been sitting for 5-6 years, several mechanics called, nobody could figure out the issue. From a no PCM reading, to a dead pump, to a bad FPDM, and a few blown fuses, all up and running under its own power again!
